Does Asch Provide a Security Mechanism to Drop Offline Delegates?
It seems like the list of delegates is totally decided upon the number of votes. What if there are more than 1/3 of delegates under DDoS attack? Can the blockchain of Asch still work under that kind of scenario?
Unlike PoW and PoS coins, Asch is using the PBFT algorithm that allows at most f = 33 nodes to fail, which is a practical number to attack for botnet operators nowadays.
I think i saw information about this somewhere (probably in the white page). You can check it out.
